Privacy Policy
How the American Biodefense Institute collects, uses, protects, and manages your information - governed by institutional-grade security protocols and sovereign data handling standards.
March 25, 2026 - This policy is reviewed and updated periodically. Continued use of ABI services constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you submit inquiries through our Contact page, execute services through our platform, or interact with our systems, you may provide personal information including your name, title, organizational affiliation, country of origin, security clearance level, and the content of your communications. All information is collected exclusively through voluntary submission via our institutional inquiry and service execution interfaces.
Automatically Collected Information
Our systems may collect technical information necessary for platform security and performance, including browser type, device identifiers, IP addresses, access timestamps, and interaction patterns with our services. This data is used exclusively for security monitoring, system optimization, and threat detection - consistent with our institutional-grade cybersecurity posture.
Service Execution Data
When you execute services through the ABI platform (including the 148-Service Catalog, Congressional Briefing Builder, and Batch Execution systems), the inputs you provide and the outputs generated are processed through our MPPT Core, OmniSynth, and Helios Supra-Framework engines. Service execution data is handled with the same security protocols applied to all ABI operations.
How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
Your information is used to process and respond to inquiries, execute requested services, generate analytical outputs, and deliver results through our platform. All processing occurs within ABI's sovereign-grade infrastructure with full audit trail preservation.
Platform Improvement
Aggregated, de-identified usage data may be analyzed to improve service quality, optimize system performance, enhance user experience, and develop new capabilities. Individual user data is never used for training purposes without explicit consent.
Security & Compliance
Information may be used for security monitoring, threat detection, compliance verification, and audit trail maintenance as required by our ARCS/ARCF compliance orchestration framework and applicable regulatory requirements.
Data Protection & Security
Encryption & Access Control
All data is protected using institutional-grade encryption both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is governed by role-based access control (RBAC) with multi-factor authentication requirements. Our post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness program ensures forward-looking protection against emerging computational threats.
Zero-Trust Architecture
ABI operates under a zero-trust security model where every access request is verified, every transaction is logged, and every data movement is auditable. Our Helios Supra-Framework provides continuous integrity verification with >99.997% reliability.
Blockchain Audit Trail
Critical data operations are recorded on our blockchain audit infrastructure (Hyperledger Fabric, Quorum, DAML) providing immutable provenance tracking, threshold cryptographic attestation, and ISO/TC 307 aligned audit trails.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
No Commercial Sharing
ABI does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise commercially share your personal information with third parties. Your data is never used for advertising, marketing profiling, or commercial data brokerage.
Authorized Disclosures
Information may be disclosed when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; when necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of ABI, its users, or the public; or when you have provided explicit consent for a specific disclosure.
Partner Organizations
When service delivery requires coordination with authorized partner organizations (government agencies, allied institutions, or approved contractors), only the minimum necessary information is shared under formal data sharing agreements with equivalent security requirements.
Data Retention & Deletion
Retention Periods
Inquiry data is retained for the period necessary to process and respond to your request, plus a reasonable archival period for institutional records. Service execution data is retained in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and our data lifecycle management policies.
Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of your personal information by submitting a request through our Contact page. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to any legal or regulatory retention obligations. Audit trail records required for compliance purposes may be retained in anonymized form.
Your Rights
Access & Portability
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to receive that information in a structured, commonly used format. Access requests can be submitted through our Contact page.
Correction & Objection
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information and to object to specific processing activities. We will respond to correction requests within 15 business days.
Regulatory Compliance
ABI respects and complies with applicable data protection regulations including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant privacy frameworks. Our ARCS/ARCF compliance orchestration automatically maps regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Cookies & Tracking
Essential Cookies
Our platform uses essential cookies required for authentication, session management, and security. These cookies are strictly necessary for platform operation and cannot be disabled without affecting functionality.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand platform usage patterns. No third-party advertising trackers, social media pixels, or commercial tracking technologies are deployed on ABI systems.
